Transfer of personal data

OnYob does not sell, trade, rent, or assign your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

However, in order to provide our services securely and efficiently, we may use technology providers that act solely as data processors and that process information following our instructions and under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

We currently use various technology providers that act as data processors and that process information solely to enable the operation of our platform and the provision of our services. These include Google Workspace for email management, secure information storage, and business productivity tools; Google Analytics to analyze the use and performance of our website; and PostHog to obtain usage metrics, analyze the browsing experience, and continuously improve the functionality and performance of our platform. These providers process information following our instructions and under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

Apart from these cases and those expressly provided for by applicable law, your personal data will not be transferred to third parties without your consent.

International transfers

Because OnYob operates from the United States and may provide services to users located in different countries, personal data may be stored or processed on servers located in the United States or other jurisdictions where our authorized technology providers operate, always under appropriate security measures and in accordance with applicable law.

Retention of information

Your personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Notice, to meet legal, tax, administrative, or contractual obligations, and to resolve any disputes arising from the provision of our services.

Once the applicable retention period has ended, the data will be deleted or anonymized through secure procedures that prevent its recovery or identification.

Security measures

OnYob implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal information against loss, alteration, destruction, unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.

Among other measures, we use secure connections via HTTPS, internal access controls, protected storage, passwords encrypted with secure algorithms, authentication for administrative access, and procedures intended to preserve the confidentiality and integrity of the information.

Although no security measure can guarantee absolute protection, we work continuously to maintain adequate data protection standards.

Records obtained through analytics and session-replay tools are accessible only to authorized OnYob personnel when necessary for incident investigation, technical troubleshooting, platform improvement, or handling support requests.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure the proper functioning of the platform, maintain session security, remember browsing preferences, analyze site usage, and continuously improve our services.

For these purposes we use tools such as Google Analytics and PostHog, which allow us to understand, in aggregate form, how users interact with our platform, identify errors, analyze site performance, and optimize the user experience.

As part of these tools, OnYob uses session-recording or Session Replay technology provided by PostHog. This functionality records the user's interaction with the platform, including cursor movements, scrolling within pages, clicks, navigation between screens, and interaction with the various interface elements. The purpose of these records is to identify technical errors, improve usability, optimize the user experience, and strengthen the quality of our services.

Session recordings are not intended to monitor users' personal behavior or to commercialize their information. To the extent possible, sensitive or confidential information is excluded, masked, or protected through technical mechanisms implemented by the platform.

You may configure your browser to block or delete certain cookies. However, some site features may stop working correctly.
